The first circular vacuum glass production facility in the Netherlands has opened for business

In the unique collaboration between Global Glass Group (GGG) and Lida Innovation Limited in Hong Kong, the world's first circular vacuum glass production factory will open in the Netherlands.

The site located in Stadskanal is currently under development and will play a key role in promoting sustainable development throughout Europe.

Circular and ultra-low carbon

The new GG NedVac vacuum glass produced by this factory is revolutionary in composition: the combination of low-carbon base glass and circulAR Glass can produce ultra-low CO ₂, making this product unique in the Netherlands and an important step towards circular and sustainable construction and renovation.

Dutch production, global impact

The decision to produce in the Netherlands was intentionally made due to the short supply chain, low transportation emissions, and suitable space for Stadskanal. GGG has many years of experience in glass production, while Leadus provides technical expertise, patents, and innovation.

Certification and Quality Assurance

The circular vacuum glass has passed the T Ü V EN673 test. GGG and Leadus have initiated CE certification and are expected to complete it within approximately 8 months. We are currently conducting additional testing and certification on the entire product line, including the circular variant.

The largest exhibition hall in the Netherlands

In order to support painters, glass dealers, architects, project developers, housing associations, homeowners' associations (VvEs), and homeowners, the largest exhibition hall in the Netherlands was established in Zwanenburg (Amsterdam). Here, professionals will soon be able to experience circular vacuum glass firsthand and discover how it contributes to sustainable and aesthetically pleasing building solutions.
